How many titles are displayed in the opening sequence to the film?
I watched the title sequence of Code 8, and Code 8 had 29 titles played during the opening sequences.  The titles in the opening sequence consisted of directors, direction companies, actors, and editors. 
What images are prioritized in the opening sequences?
Images that have to do with what the narrator is saying pop up on the screen and move and change rapidly. For example, there was a picture of a man working. This image may lead into a transition of what will occur in the beginning scenes of the film.
What connotations do the images carry
The connotation to this image is that people with powers are being forced to work. Which hints at some sort of story line build up from the beginning of the movie.
How is the genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset?
Our action genre is reinforced through many symbolic and technical codes. One of the codes being the music being played in the background. In the opening sequence, as the titles are playing the hav e the energetic and suspenseful music, which action films contain. This creates a sense of intensity in the film. 
How does the film establish an enigma from the outset?
The film establishes the enigma by showing images in a rapid manner to build up the intensity of the film. Not only are the images shown rapidly but they are also shown in a distorted manner.
What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?
As the titles are going there is narration in the background which leads to the building of the storyline, which is what attracts the. audience in the initial opening sequence. 
How has technology been used effectively? 
The editing technique was very effective. They had many transitions and glitch effects which added a lot to the title sequence. This is very visually appealing and fits the genre, which is one way the audience is kept on their toes.
