Title Research: Venom

How many titles are displayed in the opening sequence to the film?
Throughout the opening sequence when I was counting the number of titles, I counted 22 titles in the venom movie.
What images are prioritized in the opening sequences?
In the opening sequences there was a street view, and then it changed to an array of abstract black red and white pictures. The array of black, white, and red is representation of venom, which is whom the importance of the movie is about.
What connotations do the images carry?
Some of the connotations that the images carry are snippets of the actual movie and events in the movie. This allows the audience to foreshadow the future of the movie and leads them on to see if they are right or if they aren't.
How is the genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset?
The genre is reinforced by the playing of fast, loud, and diverse sounds in the music. This builds on the intensity of the film and the pictures playing throughout the background. This provides good reinforcement to the action genre. 
How does the film establish an enigma from the outset?
The film establishes the enigma throughout the opening sequence by the use of images. These images provide visual of action with no context which leaves the audience wanting know what happened.  What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?
One of the strategies which were used to grasp the attention of the audience from the beginning was the use of a popular soundtrack. The popular music in the background is from a modern artist, which provides a better connection with the audience since many people enjoy listening to music. 
How has technology been used effectively? 
The editing made this title sequence, there were a lot of abstract pictures and videos that were put together really smoothly. The transition between the different pictures and videos are extremely smooth.
